Welcome to CortexHSC

CortexHSC is a free HSC Physics study app for NSW Year 12 students. It finds where your marks are hiding, teaches the fix in a couple of minutes, and gives you exam-style practice with feedback.

What you can do

• Find your gaps: a short diagnostic and every answer you give light up a map of the NSW Physics syllabus, dot point by dot point.
• Fix them: short, voiced mini lessons and interactive videos teach the exact idea, then check it.
• Practise like the exam: original HSC-style practice papers, with written answers marked against marking criteria and feedback on what to add.
• Remember it: palm cards, an error log and Smart Revise bring back what you are about to forget.
• Plan your revision: a course tracker, study path and HSC final-run plan.

Who it is for and who made it

Year 12 students studying HSC Physics in New South Wales, Australia, and the teachers who support them. CortexHSC is built by a NSW Physics teacher with more than 15 years' experience teaching HSC Physics. It works on phones, tablets and computers, and can be installed as an app.

Safe for school use

Student accounts and progress are stored in Australia (Sydney). There are no ads, and student information is never sold. Practice questions are original and written in the style of HSC papers; CortexHSC is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by NESA or the NSW Department of Education. Card payments for the optional Supporter Pass are handled by Stripe.
